Ace the Border Collie

Ace is about 1 yr old and probably a mix between ? and Border Collie. His personality is more that of his mix - he is extremely affectionate, loves people and children, housetrained (never had an accident in the house), neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm neg, on monthly heartworm and flea control. He is very athletic, puppy like and loves to play with my neighbors small dogs and my indoor cats. Ace stands about 19" at the withers and weighs 35lbs. He does know his basic commands, is highly motivated by treats and toys, walks well on a leash and is not dominate. Ace was rescued from the Cullman, AL shelter in early Feb 2010 - he was picked up as a stray and had a borken left front leg

Ace is adopted!!!

He is now living with Mickey and Calvin in Warren, OH !!!

Update: 22-July-2010 Hi Beth Ann, Ace is wonderful. We take Ace either to the people park or the dog park every day. I'm not sure which one he likes best -- just wants to go anywhere! The dog park is 5 fenced acres & has access to the lake, so he's off leash when there. He doesn't really swim unless he accidentally goes out too far, but really likes to wade & chase a ball in the water. He has no problems with the other dogs. He sleeps in the crate, or in a chair, or on the couch, or in our bed -- pretty much wherever he falls asleep. But for sure if one of us gets up for any reason, he hops into that spot in bed. Everyone loves him -- he's such a well tempered friend. Thanks so much -- and thanks for the interest!! Mickey
